Cricut Cutting Tip! Never under estimate having a cricut replacement blade

If there was one thing you should know, having a sharp Cricut replacement blade on hand will make all the difference!

If there was one thing I wish someone had told me, it would be to always have a sharp cricut cutting blade. As you Cricut enthusiasts know, the majority of your projects use the fine point cutting blade. As a beginner Cricut Maker user, it can be a struggle getting good deep cuts. When you’re trying to weed your cuts for your project, not having a sharp blade makes it harder to separate the material from the mat. Unfortunately, this took me months to understand, so making sure to have a cricut replacement blade on hand keep you from having to start over. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ruined my material with jagged or rough cuts, and had to go out and get more materials. If you’re like me and want to save money, you can buy them in bulk on amazon. I’ll post some links to which ones I’ve found work best. If you want to go the Cricut Shop for the official replacement fine point cutting blade, I’ve got those links for you too.

Don’t forget to check here, because there’s usually a SALE happening on the Cricut site!

Check out this video I made on how to change your Cricut replacement blade here:

Go to the Cricut Shop if you want one of their blades, but you don’t need to spend a lot on the Cricut brand blades, here’s a list of Cricut replacement blade options from Amazon that are the most cost efficient:

Always be careful when you’re working with cricut replacement blades, I’ve poked myself more than a few times trying replace them. If you have a thimble or gloves handy that can help too.

It never hurts to check the Cricut Shop, they’re usually having some kind of sale!
